TOTAL Property Group are very pleased to report Karam Group’s announcement, that, following a competitive tender process, Hindmarsh Construction Australia (Qld), has been appointed as the builder for Maasra apartments. Karam Group have advised that “Whilst we were pleased with the impressive calibre of builders on the tender panel, there was one clear leader.”
As part of Karam Group’s due diligence they visited and evaluated Hindmarsh’s projects and were particularly impressed with their outstanding quality and commitment to professionalism. In addition, as a family business Karam Group felt there was a strong synergy between both Karam Group and Hindmarsh Construction. This gave Karam Group confidence that Hindmarsh would be able to deliver Maasra apartments both on time, and to the high quality standards expected by Karam Group and the Maasra family.

Anthony Karam, Managing Director of Karam Group has provided the following construction update:
Construction is continuing to progress extremely well on the Maasra site. We are fortunate that government COVID-19 policies continue to have minimal impact on the timing of our project and the builders are still on track with the construction program.
Excavation has been continuing briskly, and on the western side of the site we have reached the Basement 3 level. The builders are now working on the under slab drainage, lift pits and stairwell pits, as well as progressing down toward Basement 2 level on the eastern side. Hindmarsh will shortly commence their preliminary work and mobilisation, and in August we anticipate the delightful prospect of a crane appearing on the site.
