Japanese goes fine dining

Glam residential, retail and dining precinct The Wellington , East Brisbane is soon to house a petite new Japanese fine diner with just 18 seats.

Shunsai is the handiwork of Japanese expat chef Shun Mori and wife Miho, who’ll look after front-of-house.

Their eatery, expected late May or early June, will offer kaiseki-style dining, including seven-11 course tasting menus.

“It will be very different to what is currently on offer in Brisbane,” says Mori, who has worked at the Japanese Embassy in Switzerland.
