ROYALE GOLD COAST breaks its own record with SECOND PENTHOUSE SALE for $19.568 MILLION

Royale Gold Coast has broken its own record just weeks after setting a new benchmark for off-the-plan apartment sales in Surfers Paradise, with the $19,568,000 sale of its newly released full-floor penthouse on level 36.

The prestige beachfront Royale Gold Coast tower has now achieved more than $38 million in two penthouse sales in a matter of weeks, following the $19,180,053 sale of its level 35 penthouse late May, together marking the two highest off-the-plan apartment sales in Surfers Paradise history.

The most recent transaction, Penthouse 3601, was secured by a local Gold Coast businessman who purchased a half-floor apartment in Royale Gold Coast soon after the development was launched to the market but then decided to purchase the full floor Level 36 Penthouse when it was recently released to the market. As the building’s architectural form becomes more prominent during construction, the purchaser recognised the rare opportunity to secure a full-floor penthouse and chose to upgrade to the Level 36 residence.

Royale Gold Coast apartment sales are managed by Southeast Queensland luxury apartment specialist TOTAL Property Group, Managing Director, Adrian Parsons said the level 36 Penthouse Gold Coast buyer decision to upgrade reflected the powerful impression the building is now making as an irreplaceable beachfront residence.

“Now that the tower is taking shape, buyers are truly beginning to appreciate the scale, elegance and quality of what’s being delivered.

“The level 36 penthouse purchaser had already committed to Royale with a half-floor apartment but didn’t want to miss the opportunity to upgrade to a full-floor penthouse now that they can see the building’s physical presence.

“Royale Gold Coast’s architectural distinction and absolute beachfront location, position it as one of the most prestigious residential offerings in Australia.

“From the north-east orientation and architectural design to the calibre of finishes and world-class amenities, Royale is unlike anything else currently on offer.

“To achieve nearly $39 million in sales for two penthouses within the space of two months is an extraordinary result, reflecting the demand for ultra-premium beachfront living.

“These are not overseas investors, the people buying into Royale are Australian, many of them local, and they’re purchasing with the intention of living here, not speculating. That’s a powerful vote of confidence in both the product and the Gold Coast market.

“It also validates the developer, DD Living’s vision brought to life at Royale, a truly ultra-premium development created for discerning buyers who value quality, location and long-term lifestyle,” Mr Parsons said.

Located on the exclusive Northcliffe Terrace beachfront in Surfers Paradise, Royale Gold Coast is being delivered by luxury residential developer DD Living, led by property veteran David Devine, with construction by leading Australian tier-one builder Hutchinson Builders.

The 38-level Royale Gold Coast ultra luxury development designed by award-winning architecture firm DKO, with interiors by renowned design studio Mim Design is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026.

Royale Gold Coast is unlike any other project in the Australian market, its sculptural, elliptical form, premium north-east orientation and floor-to-ceiling glass have been meticulously designed to maximise natural light and capture uninterrupted 360-degree views across the ocean, hinterland and city skyline,” said David Devine, founder and managing director of DD Living.

“Now that construction is well advanced, the building’s form is becoming visible from the street, and buyers can fully appreciate the scale, quality and rarity of what we’re delivering.”

“Each penthouse features over 660sqm of internal and external space, including a gourmet kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, an oversized butler’s pantry, a striking glass wine cellar and full-sized bar, formal dining for 14, and expansive indoor-outdoor entertaining zones.

“The master suites occupy the entire eastern wing of the penthouses and include private sitting areas, large walk-in wardrobes with makeup vanities, and resort-style ensuites with freestanding baths, double showers, and floor-to-ceiling glass that frames uninterrupted ocean vistas,” Mr Devine said.

Residents of Royale Gold Coast will enjoy exclusive access to an extensive range of six-star resort-style amenities, including two lagoon-style swimming pools, a wellness centre with spa, steam room, cold plunge pool, sauna, and yoga terrace, along with Club Royale – a private resident-only facility featuring a Cuccina kitchen and executive lounge overlooking the beach.
