A new benchmark for luxury beachfront living has been unveiled at Burly Residences, with developer DD Living revealing for the first time an unprecedented collection of wellness, lifestyle, hospitality and business amenities spanning two entire levels of the landmark North Burleigh development.
Designed as an extension of residents’ private homes, the amenity offering spans more than 2,000 sqm and provides the most extensive resident amenity facilities of any apartment development in Gold Coast’s southern beaches.
The unveiling provides the first detailed look inside the six-star lifestyle experience being created in the beachfront development, currently under construction at 264–268 The Esplanade, North Burleigh.

According to an independent report undertaken by Broad Property Research & Advisory, Burly Residences offers the most comprehensive range of resident amenities among prestige apartment developments assessed across Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Mermaid Beach.
Known as Burly House, the development’s exclusive two-level resident amenity retreat has been designed as a complete lifestyle destination, bringing together wellness, recreation, business and entertainment spaces exclusively for residents.
Burly House features a dedicated wellness centre featuring a gymnasium, Peloton room, yoga and fitness studio, infrared sauna, steam room, outdoor heated spa, cold plunge, change rooms and outdoor wellness spaces designed to support daily health and wellbeing rituals.

Residents will also have access to two swimming pools, including a 19-metre heated magnesium pool, as well as resort-style sun lounges, landscaped relaxation areas, and private outdoor entertaining spaces.
Complementing the wellness facilities, Burly House also includes a resident-only social and business hub featuring a private cinema, executive lounge, meeting spaces, private office facilities, residents’ bar, winter lounge with fireplace, formal and casual dining areas, private dining room, commercial kitchen and teppanyaki dining experience.

The amenities have been designed by award-winning architect Koichi Takada in collaboration with interior design studio Mim Design and landscape architect Thomas Schubel, with a strong focus on wellness, connection to nature and the subtropical coastal lifestyle that defines Burleigh.
DD Living Founder and Managing Director David Devine said Burly Residences had been designed around the evolving expectations of luxury apartment buyers.
“Our vision has always been to create one of the most liveable and iconic beachfront addresses on the Gold Coast, and that meant looking beyond the apartment itself to create an exceptional lifestyle experience for residents.

“During the design process, when Mim Design told us they believed Burly Residences would deliver the best apartment amenity offering in Australia, we knew we had achieved something truly special. Mim has designed some of Australia’s most awarded luxury residential projects, so that endorsement gave us enormous confidence that we were creating something genuinely exceptional.
“At Burly Residences, we have dedicated two entire levels to creating that lifestyle. Every space has been carefully considered to enhance the resident experience, whether that is starting the day with a workout and ocean swim, hosting a private dinner in the teppanyaki lounge, conducting a business meeting from the executive lounge or relaxing in the wellness facilities,” Mr Devine said.

The development occupies a rare 2,024sqm double site with 40 metres of absolute beachfront frontage, enabling DD Living to incorporate a level of amenity rarely achievable within a single residential tower.
TOTAL Property Group Managing Director Adrian Parsons said the level of amenity was resonating strongly with prestige buyers increasingly prioritising lifestyle and wellness.
“Buyers are no longer simply comparing apartment sizes and views. They are looking at the overall lifestyle offering and the convenience of accessing premium wellness, business and entertainment facilities within their own building.

“We are seeing a significant shift in what luxury apartment buyers value, with a focus on wellness, particularly relevant given growing awareness of the benefits associated with regular access to fitness, recovery and relaxation facilities.
“Whether it is using the magnesium pool for recovery, enjoying the sauna and steam room after exercise, or simply spending time within the landscaped outdoor spaces, these facilities have been designed to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing.

“Burly Residences delivers a level of amenity more commonly associated with international luxury resorts and private members’ clubs, allowing residents to integrate wellness, recreation, entertaining and work into their everyday lives,” Mr Parsons said.
Located in the quieter, tightly held North Burleigh beachfront precinct, Burly Residences will comprise 101 luxury residences, sky homes and penthouses across 25 levels, with completion anticipated in Q1 2028.

Burly Residences’ collection of luxury two-bedroom residences ranges from 96sqm, including 20sqm balconies, priced from $2.48 million, with options for large floor plans incorporating multipurpose rooms available within the Skyhome Collection, priced from $7.50 million, featuring spacious layouts designed to capture the essence of relaxed beachfront living.
The Burly Residences Sales Gallery is located upstairs in the North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club at 293 The Esplanade, North Burleigh, Gold Coast and is open daily.
