Two levels of resident amenities – spanning roughly nine times the size of the average Aussie house – have been revealed at a luxury Burleigh Heads development, with just about every “wellness” trend taking centre stage.
Burly House, which will be located within the 25-level Burly Residences, will feature a gymnasium, Peloton room, yoga and fitness studio, infrared sauna, steam room, outdoor heated spa, cold plunge, change rooms and outdoor wellness spaces designed to support daily health and wellbeing rituals.

Complementing the wellness facilities, Burly House also includes a resident-only social and business hub featuring a private cinema, executive lounge, meeting spaces, private office facilities, residents’ bar, winter lounge with fireplace, formal and casual dining areas, private dining room, commercial kitchen and teppanyaki dining experience.

DD Living founder and managing director David Devine said Burly Residences had been designed around the evolving expectations of luxury apartment buyers.
“Our vision has always been to create one of the most liveable and iconic beachfront addresses on the Gold Coast, and that meant looking beyond the apartment itself to create an exceptional lifestyle experience for residents,” he said.
“During the design process, when Mim Design told us they believed Burly Residences would deliver the best apartment amenity offering in Australia, we knew we had achieved something truly special.
“Mim has designed some of Australia’s most awarded luxury residential projects, so that endorsement gave us enormous confidence that we were creating something genuinely exceptional.
“At Burly Residences, we have dedicated two entire levels to creating that lifestyle.
“Every space has been carefully considered to enhance the resident experience, whether that is starting the day with a workout and ocean swim, hosting a private dinner in the teppanyaki lounge, conducting a business meeting from the executive lounge or relaxing in the wellness facilities.”

TOTAL Property Group managing director Adrian Parsons said the level of amenity was resonating strongly with prestige buyers increasingly prioritising lifestyle and wellness.
“Buyers are no longer simply comparing apartment sizes and views,” Mr Parsons said.
“They are looking at the overall lifestyle offering and the convenience of accessing premium wellness, business and entertainment facilities within their own building.
“We are seeing a significant shift in what luxury apartment buyers value, with a focus on wellness, particularly relevant given growing awareness of the benefits associated with regular access to fitness, recovery and relaxation facilities.
“Whether it is using the magnesium pool for recovery, enjoying the sauna and steam room after exercise, or simply spending time within the landscaped outdoor spaces, these facilities have been designed to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing.
“Burly Residences delivers a level of amenity more commonly associated with international luxury resorts and private members’ clubs, allowing residents to integrate wellness, recreation, entertaining and work into their everyday lives.”

Located in the quieter, tightly-held North Burleigh beachfront precinct, Burly Residences will comprise 101 luxury residences, sky homes and penthouses across 25 levels, with completion anticipated in Q1 2028.

The Burly Residences Sales Gallery is located upstairs in the North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club at 293 The Esplanade, North Burleigh, Gold Coast and is open daily.
