Spanning 40 metres of coveted beachfront, Burly Residences exhibits luxury oceanside living through the vision of two of Australia’s leading design talents.
Award-winning architect Koichi Takada and acclaimed interior designer Miriam Fanning, principal of MIM Design, have combined talents to bring the six-star development to life.
The $540-million project, delivered by prominent developer David Devine DD Living, occupies a coveted 2024-square-metre double beachfront site at one of North Burleigh’s most tightly held addresses.

“For those with an eye for luxurious and immersive beachfront living, Burly Residences will shine as a one-of-a-kind address,” says Devine.
“Life here is looking outside to see nothing but the blue of the Pacific Ocean. It’s a morning spent in Burly’s stunning magnesium pool, or an evening dining at the teppanyaki grill or relaxing in the cinema.”
Six-star resort-style amenities
Adrian Parsons, managing director of Total Property Group, says the 25-storey tower will comprise 101 residences and two full levels dedicated to six-star amenities.
“These spaces are designed to provide the level of lifestyle high-net-worth professionals and entrepreneurs in the 40 to 60-year age bracket are seeking,” he says.
On the ground floor, a state-of-the-art wellness space will include a yoga zone, Peloton room, gymnasium, infrared sauna, steam room, outdoor spa and two ocean-facing swimming pools.
“One of these will incorporate lounge beds set into the water, so you can relax immersed in the surroundings,” says Parsons.

On level two, residents will enjoy a 20-metre, heated magnesium pool, lounge areas, a club bar, a private cinema, an outdoor fire pit, barbecue facilities and a teppanyaki dining space.
An elegant private dining room and VIP lounge, with a state-of-the-art kitchen for private chefs, can be reserved for special occasions.
“Business needs are also catered for, with an executive lounge and private meeting rooms,” says Parsons.
A dedicated Burly Concierge app, alongside an on-site concierge, will allow residents to nor only view building amenities but to book services ranging from dog walking to personal training.
“It also allows buyers to organise services for their apartment away from home.”
Crafted coastal design
A defining feature of Burly Residences is its expansive balconies, ranging from 17 square metres in some two-bedroom apartments to 106 square metres in the three-bedroom residences, placing them among the most generous private outdoor spaces in any beachfront apartment on the Gold Coast.
Inside, subtle curves in walls and joinery echo the building’s wave-like exterior, while floor-to-ceiling glazing frames uninterrupted ocean views.

Pure wool carpets and engineered European oak flooring have been used to create warmth and texture, while natural stone surfaces are integral to kitchens and bathrooms.
“Gourmet kitchens feature V-Zug appliances, while larger residences include butler’s pantries,” says Parsons.
Bathrooms are finished with brushed brass fittings, while bedrooms are designed as glamorous yet tranquil spaces that celebrate a relaxed, sun-filled lifestyle by the ocean, he says.
A collection of luxury residences
At the pinnacle of the building is a 432-square-metre north-east ARENA Penthouse, priced at $14.32 million, that Parsons believes truly takes luxury to a new level.
It includes four bedrooms with en suites, a powder room, and an expansive multipurpose room that can serve as a home theatre, library, or executive office.

A 64-square-metre main-bedroom suite includes a spacious walk-in wardrobe and an opulent en suite anchored by a sculptural free-standing bath and opening directly onto a private balcony.
A limited collection of luxury two-bedroom residences, priced from $2.48 million, has recently been released.
On higher floors, a Skyhome Collection offers larger floor plans with multipurpose rooms, starting at $7.46 million.
