Demolition works have begun on a 4,000 sqm site in Brisbane’s city-fringe suburb of Coorparoo that will make way for the $101 million Maasra Apartments development.
Designed by HAL Architects, the high end, mixed use residential building is being developed by Karam Group and will have 102 apartments across eight floors, retail and a restaurant on the ground floor, first level commercial office space 328 secure car parks, and 470 sqm of parkland.
Karam recently reshuffled the apartments mix in response to buyer demand for larger apartments.
Maasra Apartments marketing manager and TOTAL Property Group managing director, Adrian Parsons said Brisbane’s city-fringe areas are in high demand from home buyers and tenants, and there is a limited availability of new apartment developments in high growth areas like Coorparoo.
Two, three and four-bedroom apartments are available in a variety of floor plans and are priced from $435,000 to $1.7 million.
Coorparoo was earlier this year named the second most livable Brisbane suburb by PricewaterhouseCoopers’ CityPulse SEQ report.
